Within the FABIENE-Project , the existing 1MW_thpilot plant is extended by a gas treatment plant for the product gas originating from HTW- or Chemical Looping gasification. The extension consists of a low and a high pressure section. The low pressure part includes a hot gas filter and a water scrubber, while the high pressure part contains a catalytic conversion, a biodiesel scrubber for BTX removal, and an amine-based sour gas removal unit. The novel plant allows for the investigation of innovative gas cleaning technologies and control concepts.
